My research is focused in the research on crop monitoring across different spatial scales: remote sensing applications for precision agriculture, algorithms for in situ determination of plant biophysical parameters, functional structural models, and operational methods for crop monitoring and yield forecasting at continental level. Prior to my current position at INRAE (France) I have worked at the Agri-Food Reasearch and Technology Centre of Aragon (CITA), in Zaragoza (Spain) and the MARS Unit of the European Commission’s Joint Research Centre (JRC) in Ispra (Italy).
