Annette Menzel is a Professor of Ecoclimatology at the Technical University of Munich. She served for the AR4 of IPCC and in 2013 she was appointed Carl von Linde Senior Fellow at TUM Institute of Advanced Study. Her interdisciplinary research interests are interactions between the atmosphere, biosphere, and hydrosphere, especially (phenology mediated) impacts of climate change and extreme events on terrestrial ecosystems as well as on human health.
